If you’ve been searching for an amazing website to learn affiliate marketing, then you should already be aware of Affilorama, a website where you can get resources to help you become a successful beginner affiliate marketer.
Now the question is: is Affilorama really dependable or a waste of time or money? This is a great question, especially for all those who are just starting affiliate marketing.
That’s what I’m going to answer in this article. I’m going to go over each of the features inside Affilorama and give my opinion on their two products: Pathway to Passive Income and AffiloJetpack.

Now let’s learn more about each of these points about Affilorama and what exactly you can expect.
Pros of Using Affilorama
Free Bite-Size Lessons
One of my favorite things that I like about Affilorama is their bite-size lessons that they offer for free. The lessons, found in the Lessons section of the site, are categorized into eight topics and there seem to be at least 50 lessons available.
For each lesson, they provide a YouTube video documenting everything you need to know about a certain aspect of affiliate marketing. In addition, they provide the transcript of the video directly below it just in case you’d rather read through the lesson than spend time watching.
Each time you complete a lesson, you fill your progress bar shown on the top-right of your screen. The progress bar is a great thing because it encourages you to go through all the lessons and learn all you can from them.
Other than that, Affilorama’s lessons are really educational and the way Affilorama presents each of their lessons shows that they really want their affiliates to succeed!
And the best part: the lessons are all free. Just sign up as a member and all the lessons are waiting for you!
Amazing Member Support
As I just said, Affilorama really wants its affiliates to succeed. For this reason, Affilorama offers a public forum where you can post your questions and have fellow users help you out.
So, now, you don’t have to get into a frenzy and start scanning through Google or YouTube to find solutions to your affiliate marketing problems.
Just head over to the Affilorama forum, ask your question there, and a fellow Affilorama user or an Affilorama staff member will actively respond to you as soon as possible.
I personally have never used the Affilorama forum just because I’m not a social person, but as you see in the screenshot above, the members and moderators in Affilorama seem to be very friendly and helpful.
So, as a member of Affilorama, you get access to an amazing and supportive forum, again for free!
Site Analysis
If you’re unsure of whether you’re doing well on your blog or website as an affiliate marketer, you’re in luck because Affilorama can let you know how well you’re doing with your site. This can be found in the AffiloTools section of Affilorama, which you can get to at tools.affilorama.com.
All you do is enter your site in, put the keywords you’re trying to rank for, and Affilorama will tell you how well you’ve optimized your website and any improvements you can make.
You can also connect your Google Analytics account to AffiloTools in order to get your website traffic information as well as your ClickBank account to see how many impressions, clicks, and sales you got to any ClickBank products you may be promoting. AffiloTools is really handy if you’re analytical and/or you want to do all you can to make your site better, so that’s something that might come in handy for you.
Free Ebook with the Basics

Cons of Using Affilorama
Outdated Videos
For some reason, unfortunately, Affilorama hasn’t been posting up-to-date videos in the Lessons section that would be especially relevant to future affiliates in 2020 and beyond.
However, the text form of its videos have been fairly updated. It’s only the video content that just seems mediocre and teaching things that are now practically out of date. Here are a couple of examples:
- In one video, where you learn how to outsource your affiliate business, a site they recommended was Elance. However, Elance has been gone for a long time now and has been replaced by Upwork. The text form of that video does mention Upwork instead of Elance.
- There is a set of videos that teaches you how to code your affiliate website together, but they don’t seem to have a lot of videos on how to use WordPress. I believe WordPress is the way to go. They do mention WordPress is good for site owners, but they don’t really have WordPress tutorials, more on coding tutorials.
And all this talk about coding vs WordPress leads me to the second con.
Content Tends to Be Technical
This is especially not good for beginners like you, but don’t let that discourage you. Affilorama is only technical primarily when they teach you how to work with your blog or website and outsource your affiliate business.
However, Affilorama can make life easy for you when it comes to affiliate marketing basics like SEO, finding good products, and optimizing your content.
So this is something you’ll need to be aware of as you look through Affilorama’s Lessons section, in addition to some outdated videos. However, if you find the right lessons and study their free ebook, you can learn affiliate marketing really well as a beginner and feel motivated to get started!
Awesome Features
Now it’s time to look at two features that make Affilorama really awesome and truly worth looking into as a beginner affiliate marketer.

Simple? Affilorama, for the most part, is simple and beginner-friendly. However, there are a few areas that, again, you should look out for, such as the parts where they get technical and teach you how to code. Other than that, it seems that Affilorama strives to be a resource that anyone, from beginner to expert, can use.
Helpful? Definitely! Affilorama is all about making sure its members succeed. With an active forum, tons of free resources, and an offer to have your website, email lists, and content pre-made, Affilorama wants to ensure everyone wins as an affiliate.
Valuable? Affilorama clearly tries to be valuable, but unfortunately, they don’t seem to update their content regularly. That, of course, doesn’t necessarily mean that they never will. In fact, I’m almost sure that, by the way they teach affiliate marketing, Affilorama hopes that everyone can learn something from them, so they certainly deserve good credit for that.
