User Testing

User testing pays you to test websites, apps, games, or interfaces. During a test, you may be asked to record your screen or talk to a researcher in a video call.

• Pay: Pretty good ($1 – $50 per day on average)
• Best if: You’re observant and comfortable talking to a camera or interviewer
• Pros: Tests usually pay more than surveys; no degree or special skills needed
• Cons: May not work on mobile devices; not ideal for introverts
