3 Best Online Survey Sites to Get Paid in 2020

Taking surveys is a great and fairly easy task you can do to make some money online. Now while it is possible to make a fairly good income by doing surveys, you really should treat it as extra money, not as your primary income source.

If you’re looking for the bigger bucks, I highly recommend getting started as an affiliate marketer which can pay you exceptionally well and give you passive income.

Now, of course, there are other ways that you can earn passive income, so you’re not limited to just affiliate marketing. But if you don’t mind the income from surveys, that’s great too! After all, taking surveys was the way I started making money online.

And just so you know, there are also several survey apps where you can answer questions from your mobile device whether you are at home or on the go. They typically pay just as well as survey sites and you might find using survey apps more convenient, so you may want to consider downloading one or two.

But with that said, here are my top three online survey sites that you can sign up for today to make some extra money by answering surveys from the comfort of home.

#3. YouGov

YouGov home page

In YouGov, you get paid to express yourself and to give your personal opinions on topics that matter! From political to social issues to more simpler topics like actors, movies, and music, YouGov offers a variety of things for you to give your two cents on.

As with most survey sites, YouGov pays you in points. You can redeem those points later either as PayPal cash or gift cards. You can even give some of your earnings away to your favorite charity. It all just goes to show that YouGov not only cares about your opinion but also about how you want to use your earnings.

Here are a few drawbacks, though: the earnings you make for participating are very, very slim. To be honest, I never got to redeem anything for using YouGov! I also don’t really like the way that the site keeps you answering questions. It can get really addicting because it always shows you something to respond to and it doesn’t seem to want to give you a break.

On the other hand, YouGov is unique in that it never screens you out on their surveys. At YouGov, you always win in surveys, so you know as long as you do the answering, you will get paid something!

So if you’re ready to start expressing yourself and answering polls, you can join the YouGov community here for free.

#2. Swagbucks

Swagbucks site showing survey and task opportunities

Arguably the Internet’s most popular rewards site, Swagbucks has been around for a number of years now, offering its members plenty of opportunities to earn in-site points for amazing rewards like PayPal cash, gift cards to a number of well-known stores and restaurants, and of course offering a variety of charities for you to share your earnings with.

There are many things to do on Swagbucks, and of course, taking surveys is one of them. Now Swagbucks does offer other ways to earn points besides surveys in case you need a break. You can watch videos, take a daily poll, use their search engine, among other things. Keep in mind, however, that you won’t earn as much money doing any of the other tasks inside Swagbucks.

Swagbucks also offers a daily checklist for you to complete in order to get a few extra points. In addition, they have an add-on for your browser that can notify you of new surveys and where you can redeem codes for points. These codes can be found on the Swagbucks Facebook page.

One thing that I don’t really like about the surveys on Swagbucks, though, is the fact that, more often than not, you get screened out. At least for me, it seems to happen in almost every single survey.

#1. ySense (formerly ClixSense)

READ MY IN-DEPTH REVIEW ON YSENSE HERE!

ySense surveys

This is the one website I highly recommend as a survey site. Sorry if I put it down here toward the bottom of this article. I just wanted to save the best for last…

Anyway, ySense gives you plenty of opportunities daily to take surveys, each of which pays usually between $0.25 and $2. The best part about ySense is that they use the USD currency and not some points currency as most survey sites do. They are very user-friendly as their website is clean and easy to navigate.

ySense also has an exclusive add-on that you can install into your browser for free. This add-on will alert you whenever there are brand-new surveys for you to take. You can also use this add-on to track your earnings easily with just the click of a button (the ySense icon on your browser).

The number of survey opportunities is virtually countless on ySense. If your Survey tab is empty, you can scroll down to the bottom and go to survey routers that each have additional surveys for you. So “if at first, you don’t succeed, try, try again,” and ySense will let you do just that almost all the time, making sure you will get paid every single day.

Another awesome feature on ySense is their daily checklist bonus which is pretty easy to do. As long as you use the add-on and complete at least two surveys daily, you can get paid up to nearly $1 every single day without doing practically anything!

If you get tired of doing surveys, ySense offers plenty of free computer games as well to help you cool down. Of course, these games don’t pay anything, but they’re certainly a great way to keep you on the site.

Now how do you get paid? Since their recent rebranding, ySense now allows you to redeem your earnings through gift cards, and they have a wide assortment of options, including PayPal!

Since the rebranding, they have removed a few payment options: through check or through Payoneer or Skrill. If you wish to redeem your points through cash, I would go for the PayPal option. It’s free to sign up for PayPal, where you can also easily transfer it to your bank if you want.

So, all in all, I really can’t complain a lot about ySense. I’ve been using them for nearly two years now and I must say they’ve almost always given me an outstanding experience when it comes to taking surveys. Whenever you’re ready, see for yourself and start using ySense here for free.
